FUN, S
AFETY, AND GOOD MANNERS

Before the Party:

  • Remember that the birthday party is for the benefit and amusement of the birthday child and his/her friends. Include the birthday child's opinions when planning.
  • Select the date, theme, guest list and location. Have an alternate location in case of inclement weather.
  • Time scheduling is important! We suggest 1 ½ hours for younger children (who may need nap time) or 2 hours for older children.
  • Schedule entertainment and/or rental equipment (Clowns, Moon Walk, Space Walk, Bounce House, etc.) as early as possible.
  • Send invitations two to three weeks in advance of the party and include RSVP information.
  • Purchase all your party supplies in advance (goodie bags are a great idea).
  • Plan a lot of games and activities, without focusing too much on competition.  EVERYONE IS A WINNER!
  • Prepare for extra guests.

At the Party:

  • Be sure to have adequate supervision (remember that clowns are not babysitters).
  • Ask friends to help if necessary.
  • Be flexible, and adhere to the children’s needs.
  • Have fun!

After the Party:

  • Send thank you notes to your guests.
